FAQ’s

 

Is there a minimum order size?
No, you can buy as little, or as much, as you like!


Where do you deliver?
We deliver to the UK, including the Channel Islands, and Ireland. We will deliver worldwide but there will be an additional delivery charge which we will advise you of in advance


Who will deliver my parcel?
We use the City Link as our preferred courier service for next day service and despatch of all orders. Orders are delivered by a courier service to your home oroffice between 7.30 -17.30 Monday - Friday (except Bank Holidays)Saturday deliveries can be arranged subject toa surcharge by Telehoning 01923234460. Orders despatched on Friday will be only delivered on the following Monday.

If nobody is at the address of delivery, the driver will post a card through athe letterbox advising the recipient that they have attempted  delivery and inviting the customer to arrange a suitable time.

Orders can be collected from your local branch at a convenient time with in the branch opening hours.

Parcels are kept at the branch for 5 working days after the 1st attempt was made.Couriers can  and do make mistakes on occasions.

We also use Royal Mail if the weight of the order is up to 750 grms and usually sent out as second class which takes 2-3 days.


How long does delivery take?
We aim to deliver all stock items within 24 hours. Non stock items are despatched within 3 working days.  


I live in the middle of nowhere, how will your delivery driver find me?
The courier will locate your property using your postcode. As long as this is correct, the driver will have no problem finding where you are.


 

Do you have a shop which I can come to collect my order?
Yes - We have been established for over 15 years and you are welcome to come and visit us and collect your order. We still require you to order online in advance if collection and advise us that you wish to collect your order. We will confirm once your order is ready  for collection..

Do you sell Kosher foods and how do I find them?

Yes. Please go to our Home page www.southafricanfoods.co.uk and select Kosher foods from the top row of buttons. This will display all the products we have that are Kosher. Select the items you require and proceed to “buy” items and checkout .

Special Note: - All our products are clearly marked whether they are South African / Kosher / Zimbabwe or combination of these. To verify type select the INFO button next to the product and this will display a box confirming type of product.

How do I place an Order?

 

Once you have reviewed the products you require, select “buy” for each product you require. These are added to your shopping basket, as you add more products or remove products press recalculate to check value of your order. When you have completed shopping proceed to checkout. Complete a new user registration form OR if you are an existing user enter your user name & password. You will beguided to our payment gateway with HSBC where you casn make your payment securely.


 

What happens after I have paid?

 

You will receive email notification from HSBC and us that your order has been received and the full amount you have been debited.. We will advise you when it will be despatched.


How easy is it to re-order once I am an existing client?

 

When you open our Home page www.southafricanfoods.co.uk you will see a log-in button at the top of the screen on the right hand side. Just click this, enter your user details and start shopping. That’s it – checkout as normal and we will arrange delivery.
